Forward Deployed Engineer (Senior)

About the Role

A hands-on role in a small team focused on integrating technology with advisory workflows. You will collaborate closely with domain experts to prototype, build, and iterate software that supports tax advisory work in a fast paced environment.

What You'll Do

Build MVPs in collaboration with practitioners to validate ideas quickly. Translate complex advisory workflows into working software solutions. Iterate rapidly based on direct user feedback and measurable outcomes. Own features end-to-end from scoping through deployment and monitoring.

What We're Looking For

3+ years of full stack engineering experience building and deploying production software. Fluent German language skills (spoken and written). Proficiency with backend frameworks such as NestJS or equivalents and frontend frameworks like React, with full-stack TypeScript experience.

Experience delivering features end-to-end from requirements gathering to deployment. Ability to translate domain workflows into software requirements and implementations. Experience collaborating with non technical stakeholders and domain experts.

Strong product sense and a tech first mindset, with no low code tools. Background in financial services, tax, accounting, or regulated advisory domains preferred. Startup or early stage experience and willingness to work on site in Berlin.
