Engineering Subject Matter Specialist

Overview of position:

FEDITC is seeking an Engineering Subject Matter Specialist to work at Red River Army Depot in the Texarkana, TX area.

A United States Citizenship and an active Secret DoD Security Clearance is required to be considered for this position.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional engineering advice and technical assistance supporting production and overhaul operations.
• Support planning activities prior to the start of work and assist with validation and verification of pilot overhaul processes.
• Advises and assists production personnel, supervisors, and managers over production operations.
• Assist with the resolution and prevention of production problems.
• Interpret engineering drawings and vehicle repair procedures to support production activities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience providing engineering support within production, manufacturing, maintenance, or vehicle overhaul environments.
• Experience interpreting engineering drawings, technical documentation, and repair procedures.
• Strong technical problem-solving and communication skills.

Clearance:

• Active Secret DoD Security Clearance is required.
• Must be a United States Citizen and pass a background check.
