About the role

We are looking for a Cloud & Infrastructure Engineer to strengthen our IT systems development team in Vilnius and support the companies of Teltonika IoT Group.

The headquarters, run by the parent company Teltonika IoT Group, coordinates the activities of Lithuanian high-tech companies operating under the brand name of Teltonika as well as all the representative offices of Teltonika around the world.

In this role, you will:

  • Focus primarily on the deployment, administration, scaling, and maintenance of cloud platforms, while also supporting existing hybrid server infrastructure.
  • Monitor cloud environments, servers, and storage to ensure high system availability, performance, and security.
  • Apply DevOps practices by contributing to infrastructure automation tasks, CI/CD workflows, and configuration management.
  • Assist with backup administration and maintain robust recovery processes across hybrid and cloud environments.
  • Help manage and support IT tools and infrastructure services used across the organization.
  • Participate in incident handling and troubleshooting within cloud and server infrastructure, following ITSM best practices.
  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation, infrastructure procedures, and architecture diagrams.
  • Work together with other engineers to learn operational best practices and take ownership of assigned cloud systems.

What we expect of you:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Strong foundational knowledge of Microsoft Azure, Kubernetes services management, Infrastructure as Code principles (Terraform, Ansible), including management of cloud native services. Experience with AWS or GCP platforms would be considered an advantage.
  • At least 1-2 years of experience in managing cloud platforms, performing infrastructure administration, or a similar role.
  • Knowledge of server administration in Windows and Linux environments.
  • Understanding of virtualization concepts and some experience with VMware vSphere, Hyper-V, or Proxmox.
  • Basic networking knowledge, including IP addressing, DNS, VLANs, VPNs, and firewalls.
  • Interest in backup and recovery solutions; experience with Veeam would be considered an advantage.
  • Awareness of cybersecurity principles and IT best practices.
  • Good Lithuanian and English language skills, both spoken and written.
  • Willingness to learn, troubleshoot, and grow in a fast-paced infrastructure environment.

Ideally, you would also have:

  • Practical scripting and automation skills in PowerShell, Bash, Python.
  • Familiarity with monitoring, alerting, and log analysis tools such as Zabbix, Azure Monitor, Grafana, SIEM-related solutions, etc.
  • Hands-on experience with hardware integration, including physical relocation and assembly of server and storage infrastructure.
  • Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Azure, Veeam, or ITIL Foundation.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.

Salary:

We appreciate everyone's efforts and experience, therefore we offer an attractive salary matching your skillset and professional expertise. The salary for this position starts from 26-45 Eur/h (4316- 7470 Eur/month gross) depending on your experience and qualifications, with the possibility of additional bonuses.
