Microsoft Security Architects and Engineers

DEFEND is growing its Microsoft security Professional Services team.

We are on the hunt for Architects and Engineers who like being at the front of customer delivery, improving security posture, getting full value from Microsoft licensing, and helping organisations adopt AI and agents securely.

We are actively hiring:

• Senior Cybersecurity Architects to design security solutions across the full Microsoft stack, set technical direction on customer engagements and guide engineers through implementation; and
• Senior Cybersecurity Engineers to deploy and configure Microsoft Defender, Entra, Purview and Defender for Cloud for customers of all sizes and complexity.

Requirements

We want to hear from you if you have hands-on experience implementing some or all of the following tools:

• Microsoft Defender XDR and Microsoft Sentinel: SC-200
• Identity and access with Microsoft Entra: SC-300
• Data security with Microsoft Purview: SC-401
• Cloud and AI workload security with Defender for Cloud: SC-500 (or a current AZ-500)

Preferred certifications or experience include:

• SC-100 is expected (required for architects) and would be a highly valued certification if you're an engineer
• GH-300 (GitHub Copilot)
• AI-103 (AI apps and agents on Azure)
• AB-100 (Agentic AI Business Solutions Architect)

It's ok if you don't tick every box, DEFEND will support you to complete any core certifications required for you to do your role
