In the Networking position, you’ll manage networking activities (Internet, LAN, dynamic routing, VPNs, Firewalls, Wi-Fi etc.) for Monks sites in LATAM
Key Responsibilities
- You’ll be in charge of the administration of network assets
- You’ll handle the preparation and deployment of network changes
- You’ll automate the operational and maintenance work as much as possible
- You’ll monitor, analyze, and report metrics of network services
Background & Skills
- Relevant certifications on network and firewall technology and solutions with a high preference for Fortinet NSE 4, 5, 7 etc.
- Deep knowledge on DNS, DHCP, Routing and Routed Protocols (OSPF, BGP)
- Epic network troubleshooting skills
- Excellent documentation skills
- Experience with network monitoring tools (Zabbix preferred)
- Security knowledge
- Ability to learn quickly and share knowledge
- You’re Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
- Intermediate Linux experience. Know why things work on a Linux system -- not just how to configure them.
