Senior Frontend Engineer

As a Senior Frontend Engineer at Gong, you'll lead the development of intuitive and scalable applications, collaborate closely with diverse teams, and drive impactful solutions in our innovative, fast-paced environment.

You’ll Own:

• Own the features you develop while collaborating with product and UX teams from ideation and wireframes through production.
• Be a major part of Gong's frontend guild, with frontend developers from across the company.
• Participate in our well-known architecture huddles, where we make future decisions about our code and best practices.

You’ll Solve:

• Tackle complex technical challenges across architecture, code, and product levels.
• Deliver solutions that balance practicality with innovation, considering both short-term needs and long-term impact.

You’ll Impact:

• Help translate our vision into a solid SaaS product that performs, scales, and is easy to use.
• Be part of a successful startup technology team, building a product that makes a big impact.

How You’ll Succeed Here:

• Bring 5+ years of industry experience developing web applications, including large-scale, cloud-based applications. A degree in computer science or a related field is preferred.
• Understand JavaScript in depth, have strong experience with React (must-have), and bring proven experience in the architecture of design systems and components. Familiarity with backend languages such as Java, Node.js, C#, or others is an advantage.
• Enjoy taking responsibility and having a strong sense of ownership over the product you help create. Communicate effectively, with strong verbal and written English skills, and enjoy working both independently and within a team of highly skilled peers.
• Constantly learn new things through professional lectures and workshops organized by Gong, along with extra learning time provided to each developer to gain or improve professional skills.
