Software Engineer II

Your Impact

This role can be based in either our Timișoara or Bucharest office in Romania and follows a hybrid work schedule.This role is based out of our Bucharest office and follows a hybrid schedule. We rely on in-person collaboration and ask that team members work onsite Tuesdays through Fridays, with the flexibility to work remotely on Mondays, unless there is an approved workplace accommodation. • Contribute to engineering architecture design reviews, incorporating AI-driven insights and system modeling
• Work to a high technical bar through code and architecture reviews, including high quality execution of AI-generated code and patterns
• Contribute to adoption of AI-assisted development tools and workflows across the engineering organization
• Work across teams with Product, Design, and Engineering to create integrated solutions
• Improve your engineering workflows by embedding automation, AI tooling, and intelligent workflows into planning and execution
• Build services that adhere to high standards on availability and latency in a mission-critical environment
• Leverage AI systems to optimize performance, observability, and operational efficiency

What You Bring

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 5+ years of professional software development experience
• Experience designing and delivering highly-available, scalable cloud-based systems
• Backend service experience in multiple managed languages such as Java, Scala, Go, C#, or similar
• Experience with SQL or NoSQL data stores
• Experience evaluating and integrating AI-assisted development tools into engineering workflows
• Strong understanding of how AI can be applied to improve developer productivity, system design, and operational efficiency
