The Opportunity

You will be participating in all facets of Software Development and / or Software Sustaining, using knowledge and experience analyzing complex problems and devising creative solutions. Promotes proper engineering discipline and drives momentum within the project team. Consults with other teams on topics related to areas of expertise.

What You'll Do

  • Have an AI-first mindset using AI coding assistants to generate code while retaining comprehension of generated code.
  • Use AI across the spectrum of designing, building, testing, and supporting software products.
  • Can build AI and Agentic based capabilities using stacks like AWS Bedrock, LangGraph, Strands, Mastra etc.
  • Designs and implements the most complex changes across multiple platform components based on requirements.
  • Defines Software components or Solution architecture patterns.
  • Makes decisions related to design approaches, interoperability and integration.
  • Consults with other project teams and product management in areas of expertise.
  • Evaluates and recommends external technologies for inclusion in products.
  • Reports progress and risks to management.
  • Alerts management of risks due to customer concerns, personnel difficulties and/or product problems (quality/delivery).
  • May become a reference on specific technical subjects.
  • Mentors and transfers knowledge to less experienced team members, perhaps in different locations.

What You Bring

Required

  • Bachelor’s Degree (and/or Post Graduate Degree) in computer science, software engineering or related field.
  • 10+ years in software development.
  • Hands-on experience working with technologies and languages like Java, Node, Typescript, Angular,and SQL.

Preferred

  • Experience in any of the cloud technologies like AWS, Azure, GCP (Preferably AWS).

AI Fluency

AI fundamentally changes how they engineer: defaults to AI-first approaches where appropriate and has built workflows, tooling, or practices that improve output beyond just themselves. Demonstrates strong judgment about tradeoffs and failure modes. Architect end-to-end AI-powered systems integrating LLM APIs such as Anthropic Claude, OpenAI, and AWS Bedrock into production applications Design and implement agentic workflows including tool use, memory, and Model Context Protocol (MCP) integrations that connect AI models to real data sources and services Lead architectural decisions around latency, cost, observability, and safety when LLMs are in the critical path of a product.
