IT PC Technician

We are looking to hire, under contract, an IT PC Technician. This position will be assigned to work for the IT location at the EchoWater Facility (SacSewer) in Elk Grove. However, depending on the need, work location may alternate between SacSewer at Goethe Road and the EchoWater Facility in Elk Grove.

The selected individual will be part of the IT Customer Services Team (ITCS), which supports employees at both locations. The IT PC Technician will assist with Help Desk, hardware/software installations, interact with customers, understand, diagnose, and troubleshoot their technical problems, and various other technical special projects as assigned. The contract duration will be one year, extendible depending on the performance and business needs.

• Successful development of PC images
• Experience in Windows Administration and Support
• Experience in conducting Helpdesk phone support
• Experience in Microsoft Office Products
• Experience with supporting Windows operating systems in an AD (Active Directory) Enterprise network environment

Desirable skills (documented in the candidate's resume) include:

• VoIP and smartphone support experience
• Remote PC Support
• Familiarity with Atlassian Tools (Jira and Confluence)
• Asset and Inventory Tracking Skills
