Sales Engineer, SLED (Midwest/Southeast)

• Help customers understand the value of Cribl during the sales process
• Demo the product suite and answer technical questions during pre-sales motions
• Lead the proof-of-concept experience through guided sessions with prospects
• Act as an ongoing, trusted technical advisor to existing customers, understanding their environment and how Cribl can continuously add value
• Document interesting domain use cases in blog posts and product documentation
• Travel up to 30% to support customers and marketing events
• We are a remote-first company and work happens across many time-zones - you may be required to occasionally perform duties outside your standard working hours

If You've Got It - We Want It

• Experience with Logs, Metrics, IT Operations and Security
• Background of successfully selling deals to SLED customers
• Background in Sales Engineering, Professional Services, or Support
• Experience working with multiple environments (AWS, Azure, on-prem) and operating systems (proficiency with Linux a must)
• Working knowledge of JavaScript, Regex, and KQL
• Prior Cribl product experience. Even better if you have feedback!
• Experience working remotely with travel to support in-person meetings and events
• You reside in the Southeast or Midwest United States

The salary for this role is dependent on geographic location and will be based on the individual candidate's job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

In addition to base salary, for sales and some sales-adjacent roles, employees are eligible to earn incentive compensation (commission). For all other roles, employees are eligible to participate in the Cribl Corporate Bonus Program.

Base Salary Range

$140,000—$182,000 USD
