Role

We are looking for a Director, Product Management — Customer Growth & Value Realization to join our team. This is a hybrid role in Santa Clara, CA, reporting to the Senior Director, Product Management. Zscaler is seeking a strategic product leader to lead high-impact initiatives that improve customer adoption, value realization, and business performance across our product portfolio. In this role, you will connect customer needs, product usage, data insights, and commercial outcomes into a clear execution agenda.

What you’ll do (Role Expectations)

  • Drive customer adoption, value realization, and long-term engagement across key customer segments and use cases by translating telemetry and health signals into focused product action
  • Lead highly strategic, cross-functional product initiatives from initial opportunity identification through to execution, roadmap recommendation, and post-launch KPI tracking
  • Partner closely with Customer Success, Sales, Support, Operations, and Finance to scale customer experience enhancements, support expansion readiness, and optimize overall business performance
  • Collaborate with GTM and Channel/Partner teams to ensure product insights and adoption patterns are fully operationalized across direct, partner-led, and channel-assisted routes to market
  • Establish robust product management discipline, including structured prioritization frameworks, operating cadences, business case modeling, and senior-level alignment to drive high-accountability outcomes

Who You Are (Success Profile)

  • You are a highly analytical strategist who naturally uses complex telemetry, product usage trends, and business metrics to diagnose challenges and prioritize high-value opportunities.
  • You are a collaborative relationship-builder with a proven track record of aligning diverse, senior-level stakeholders across Engineering, GTM, Finance, and Customer Success to drive shared goals.
  • You are a structured leader who excels at translating ambiguous customer and market signals into concrete problem statements, comprehensive product requirements, and rigorous execution plans.
  • You possess deep business acumen and easily connect day-to-day product features to broader financial outcomes, including ARR, NRR, GRR, and long-term customer lifetime value.
  • You thrive in fast-paced, evolving environments where you can establish order, define robust prioritization frameworks, and create execution clarity for multi-functional teams.

What We’re Looking for (Minimum Qualifications)

  • Foundational understanding of AI/ML technologies and experience leveraging, securing, or positioning AI-driven solutions to optimize outcomes within your functional domain
  • 10+ years of experience leading product management, product strategy, product operations, or business operations initiatives within the enterprise SaaS or cloud technology sectors
  • Proven track record of defining product strategy, framing complex decisions, building robust business cases, and translating insights into clear roadmap recommendations
  • Deep knowledge of enterprise SaaS business models, customer lifecycle dynamics, and key commercial drivers such as ARR, NRR, GRR, expansion, and lifetime value
  • Exceptional analytical capabilities with hands-on experience leveraging data and product telemetry to diagnose complex problems and drive executive-level alignment
  • Outstanding communication and leadership skills, with a demonstrated ability to navigate ambiguity, influence without authority, and create operational structure across diverse teams

What Will Make You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

  • Proven ability to leverage AI technologies and workflows to drive measurable operational efficiency
  • Experience in cybersecurity, cloud security, networking, Zero Trust, or other complex, high-scale B2B enterprise technology environments
  • Strong background in product-led growth (PLG), customer health analytics, lifecycle optimization, and supporting multi-channel GTM engagement models
  • Familiarity with enterprise analytics, customer success, and product engagement platforms such as Salesforce, Gainsight, Tableau, Snowflake, Amplitude, or Pendo
