Junior Project Manager

We're hiring a Junior Project Manager to join our delivery team in Tashkent and help run software and mobile app projects for US-based clients at Bolder Apps. This is an early-career role. You'll work next to experienced project managers, keep projects organized day to day, and talk with clients and engineers directly.

You'll take notes on client calls, track tasks and deadlines, write clear status updates and make sure nothing falls through the cracks. Our engineering teams use AI tools every day, so projects move fast and we need someone who keeps the details in order. This is a full-time, hybrid contract role based in Tashkent, paid monthly, with at least 3 days a week in our Tashkent office.

It is open to candidates in Uzbekistan only. Fluent English is a must, because you'll speak and write to US clients every day. Strong recent graduates and early-career PMs are very welcome, including graduates of leading Tashkent universities.

Responsibilities

• Support senior project managers in running several client projects at the same time, from kickoff to launch
• Join client calls, standups and demos, take clear notes and send the follow-ups and action items the same day
• Keep tasks, tickets and timelines current in Jira, Linear, ClickUp or similar, so the team always knows what's next
• Write short, clear status updates for US clients and for the internal team
• Help the team break client requests into tasks with simple acceptance criteria
• Track deadlines and blockers, chase answers from clients and engineers, and raise risks early
• Help coordinate QA, test builds and releases, including App Store and Google Play submissions
• Keep project documents, specs and meeting notes organized so anyone can find the context
• Log scope changes and new requests so they are discussed and approved before work starts
• Run your own small projects or workstreams as you grow

Requirements

• 0 to 2 years of experience in project management, business analysis, coordination or another client-facing role. Internships and university projects count
• Fluent English, C1 or above. You'll speak with US clients on calls and write updates they read directly
• Very organized. You track many small details and deadlines without dropping any
• Clear, simple communicator in writing and speaking, including when something is late or unclear
• Interest in software and mobile apps. You don't need to code, but you want to understand how products get built
• Comfortable with tools like Google Docs and Sheets, Notion, Jira, Trello or similar, and quick to learn new ones
• You use AI tools in your daily work or study, such as ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini
• Able to work from our Tashkent office at least 3 days a week
• Based in Uzbekistan
• Available for some calls in US Eastern business hours

Nice to have

• An internship or job at a software company, agency or startup
• A degree in business, IT, computer science, economics or a related field
• Experience leading a team project end to end, at university, in an internship or at work
• Any Agile or Scrum exposure, or a course or certificate in project management
• Russian or Uzbek in addition to English
