Currently we are looking for a Senior Analytics Engineer.

• Salary range: 40 - 60 eur/h
• Contract: Freelance B2B
• Start date: ASAP
• Engagement: full-time, 2 months project with possibility to extend
• Location: Remote (based in Europe only)

What you'll do:

• Build the CDDP6 regulatory report based on the existing, already defined requirements.
• Design, develop and deploy production-grade dbt models and SQL transformations in Google BigQuery.
• Clarify requirements and edge cases directly with the Product Manager, acting as the main technical point of contact for the report.
• Follow Analytics Engineering standards, including modular SQL, automated testing and thorough documentation of models.
• Work independently and take ownership of delivery, with limited support from internal Analytics Engineering team.

Requirements

Must Have:

• Hands-on, production experience with dbt, specifically in data modelling: building scalable ETL pipelines and warehouse models (not limited to dashboarding or BI work).
• Advanced SQL skills, including complex transformations, performance optimisation and working with large datasets.
• Solid working knowledge of Git and GitHub (branching, pull requests, code reviews).
• Good spoken and written English for a cross-functional, international team.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Google Cloud Platform, particularly BigQuery, which is the client’s core data stack.
• Experience with dbt modelling in the payments or fintech domain (strongly preferred).
• Background in regulatory reporting within the EU or UK, e.g. for the CSSF, FCA or Banks.
