Senior Business Analyst | CABA – On-Site 2 Days/Week

At SunnyData, our mission is to help customers build a highly scalable architecture, robust data engineering pipelines, easy data consumption layers and more importantly build ML and AI applications to power their business and drive outstanding business outcomes. As a Business Analyst, you ensure that both ongoing and upcoming work delivers business value to the client. Additionally, you confirm the technical delivery team has the essential resources, clear priorities, and requirements to succeed when they begin their participation in a project.

The Impact You Will Have

• Collaborate with clients to understand their business needs and objectives
• Design and develop business architectures that align with clients strategic goals
• Identify opportunities for leveraging data and AI to improve business processes and outcomes
• Collaborate with technical teams to ensure the successful implementation of solutions
• Conduct gap analysis and recommend improvements to existing business processes, including data governance
• Lead workshops and meetings to align stakeholders on project goals and deliverables
• Bridge the gap between business strategy and technical execution, translating complex challenges into scalable data solutions
• Develop accelerators, frameworks, and best practices that elevate our delivery capabilities
• Identify new opportunities and help expand client relationships

What We Look For

• 5+ years of experience in business analysis or product development, ideally within Data and Analytics
• Strong SQL skills for complex data analysis, validation, and troubleshooting
• Proficiency with visualization and reporting tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, etc.)
• Familiarity with APIs
• Understanding of data management, analytics, and AI technologies
• Direct client-facing experience in a consulting or professional services organization
• Skilled at facilitating workshops, managing conflict, and building consensus
• Experience translating business needs into functional and technical specifications
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Data-driven decision maker who quantifies business value and ROI
• Analytical thinker who can break down complex problems into actionable solutions

Preferred Experience

• Lean Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or higher)

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Technology, or related field is preferred.
