About the role
About Us
FUTRUE Neurosciences – An unlimited mind. With our new venture within the FUTRUE Group, we are pursuing a clear mission: We develop the leading generation of brain-computer interfaces by 2030.
As part of the FUTRUE Group, we have strong financial resources and a proven track record – from the first medical device for irritable bowel syndrome to the first opioid substitute for chronic pain. We turn scientific vision into clinical reality.
We collaborate with leading research institutions worldwide and publish our results in the most prestigious international journals, including Nature and The Lancet.
Today, FUTRUE is one of the fastest-growing healthcare companies in the world. To advance and further expand our new venture, we are looking for outstanding talents to support us in our mission.
Does this sound exciting to you? Then apply now! We look forward to getting to know you.
Your Mission with us
For our new venture within the FUTRUE Group, we are immediately seeking a Analog / Mixed-Signal IC Design Engineer, Brain-Computer Interface (m/f/d) to develop the leading generation of brain-computer interfaces with us by 2030.
We aim to restore mobility to the paralyzed, sight to the blind, and a voice to the mute, with the goal of fundamentally expanding the potential of the human brain.
Our vision: An unlimited mind.
Your Tasks
You will develop the implantable chip of our brain-computer interface with us.
- Design and implement analog and mixed-signal circuit blocks for the acquisition and processing of neural signals in the µV range.
- Develop the analog core components of the chip: low-noise amplifiers (LNAs), adjustable gain stages, and high-resolution analog-to-digital converters (ADCs), under strict power and thermal budgets.
- Own the circuit design at the transistor level, guide the physical layout, and verify your designs through comprehensive simulations.
- Take your designs from tape-out through silicon validation to a finished ASIC; analyze measurement data in the lab and iterate the next generation.
- Work closely with our FUTRUE teams and development partners to define the system architecture of our implant.
Your Profile
We are hiring across all experience levels. What matters are exceptional abilities and the drive to push boundaries. This is what sets you apart:
- You are passionate about shaping the next major innovation in the health-tech sector in an environment with fast decision-making processes.
- You have experience in analog/mixed-signal CMOS design.
- You master the design of low-noise analog circuits and understand the specific challenges of processing biological signals (µV levels, artifact suppression).
- You have completed your degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Microelectronics, Physics, or a comparable field, ranking among the top of your class.
- You have a strong drive, the ability to quickly familiarize yourself with new subject areas and can communicate complex matters concisely.
- You are business-fluent in English or German (min. C1).
Our Promise
We offer you a diverse, challenging job with exciting tasks and a broad spectrum of creative opportunities! Our innovative environment allows for your professional development with short decision-making paths, responsibility from day one, and the freedom to break new ground. Individual learning and real purpose await you – push the boundaries of what is possible with us!
