- Oversee integration of custom supplier deliverables into internal development efforts, ensuring alignment on quality, timing, and validation
- Assess and mature supplier processes, capabilities, and metrics to ensure repeatable, scalable development
- Promote structured collaboration and alignment across engineering, supply chain, and manufacturing teams
- Lead post-integration reviews to drive continuous improvement in internal and external processes
- Support strategic planning by identifying technical capability gaps, supplier dependencies, and future readiness requirements
- Travel domestically and internationally for supplier site visits, technical reviews, and onboarding activities (estimated 15–25%
REQUIRED SKILLS / EXPERIENCE
- Proven ability to lead complex, multistakeholder development programs involving custom or emerging technologies
- Experience driving supplier qualification, onboarding, and development efforts for hardware components or assemblies
- Strong understanding of hardware development lifecycles, design-for-manufacturing principles, and supplier engagement models
- Highly proficient in building and managing integrated project plans, tracking risk and performance, and driving execution through influence
- Excellent communication and documentation skills; able to translate complex requirements across technical and nontechnical stakeholders
- Strong organizational awareness and ability to manage ambiguity in fast-paced environments
DESIRED SKILLS / EXPERIENCE
(Looking for one or more as a complement to the core skills)
- Background in radar, RF systems, aerospace, automotive, or complex electromechanical systems
- Familiarity with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tools such as Arena or Windchill
- Proficiency with project management and collaboration tools (e.g., MS Project, Confluence, Jira)
- Experience with Agile or hybrid program execution models
- Certifications such as PMP, Lean Six Sigma, or equivalent are a plus
- Experience driving process or framework improvements across internal and supplier teams
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, physical sciences, supply chain, or a related technical discipline
- 8+ years in technical program management, supplier development, or complex hardware integration
- Ability to travel up to 25%, including internationally, for supplier engagement and coordination activities
