- Collect, process, validate, and interpret test data to confirm that equipment is operating correctly and capturing the required information.
- Produce rapid, preliminary assessments—or “quick looks”—during local and field test events
- Identify test anomalies and prepare Test Incident Reports (TIRs) as part of data-analysis and post-processing activities
- Support TIR reviews by providing data-driven analysis and recommendations to inform incident disposition and closure
- Contribute technical insights and recommendations to the design and improvement of data-analysis tools
- Support hardware and software component, subsystem, system-level development, compatibility, acceptance, functional, integration, qualification, field, environmental, and stress-screening tests
- Support cybersecurity, electromagnetic interference, electromagnetic compatibility, and TEMPEST-related test activities
- Develop, review, coordinate, and staff test documentation, including:
- Test and Evaluation Master Plans (TEMPs)
- Test Readiness Review (TRR) briefings
- Test plans and procedures
- Test reports, findings, and results
- Prepare classified and unclassified technical briefings, program updates, reports, and other deliverables
- Participate in technical and program reviews, including System Requirements Reviews, System Functional Reviews, Preliminary Design Reviews, Critical Design Reviews, and Test Readiness Reviews
- Participate in integrated product teams (IPTs), working groups, and other technical forums
- Provide input to integrated master schedules, risk-management activities, and budgeting processes
- Assist in drafting Statements of Objectives, Statements of Work, Performance Work Statements, performance specifications, and supporting solicitation documents.
- Provide technical advice and assistance during proposal evaluations.
- Support local and field test events and assist with test-related system integration activities
- Attend classified meetings at the Secret and Top Secret levels, as required
Requirements
- Top secret security clearance is required
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering and at least three (3) years of experience testing Department of Defense systems or products; or Master’s degree in engineering and at least one (1) year of experience testing Department of Defense systems or products
- Experience using MATLAB and/or Python for scripting, data processing, visualization, or technical analysis
Salary Range: $110,000.00 to $150,000.00 annually. Actual compensation will be determined based on the selected candidate's experience, education, skills, and overall qualifications.
