What You Will Be Doing
As a hands-on architectural leader, you will pioneer opportunities to rationalize and replace redundant commercial SaaS applications with modern internal AI agents and custom-engineered micro-apps. You will modernize the SDLC through end-to-end testing and deployment automation while enforcing strict security and AI safety guardrails. Partner closely with executive IT leadership and lead a blended global engineering organization to deliver scalable, high-velocity business capabilities that drastically reduce procedural friction.
What You Will Bring to ChargePoint
- Formulate and drive the architectural roadmap to eliminate cross-system silos across Salesforce, NetSuite, billing, and customer operations.
- Lead the strategy to “agentify” enterprise users across Sales, Support, Finance, and Operations by deploying autonomous and semi-autonomous AI copilots.
- Identify, evaluate, and execute opportunities to rationalize or replace high-cost, specialized third-party SaaS tools with internal AI-driven micro-applications.
- Drive business process re-engineering and optimization across corporate functions to eliminate procedural friction and manual reconciliations.
- Enforce comprehensive AI governance, prompt evaluation standards, hallucination mitigation, and execution boundaries for autonomous agents.
- Define canonical data architectures and golden record standards across accounts, customers, and assets to fuel reliable automations.
- Modernize the platform SDLC by establishing automated testing frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, and AI-assisted development tools.
- Track platform unit economics, SaaS spend reductions, and automation ROI, delivering executive KPI dashboards directly to C-suite leadership.
- Mentor and scale a high-velocity blended engineering model comprising in-house platform architects, global/offshore teams, and specialized implementation partners.
Requirements
- 12 -15 years of relevant experience in enterprise application architecture, software engineering, or platform systems delivery.
- 4 - 7 years of experience leading and scaling architectural and engineering teams across distributed or global environments.
- Deep hands-on architectural experience with enterprise business platforms, specifically Salesforce (Sales/Service/CPQ) and NetSuite ERP.
- Proven track record of implementing production AI harnesses, autonomous agent frameworks, and generative AI copilots.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze corporate software portfolios, architect cost-effective internal alternatives, and optimize cross-functional business processes.
- Deep fluency in event-driven integration patterns, application security, AI safety guardrails, and regulatory compliance standards (SOC 2, ISO, GDPR).
- Exceptional executive presence with the ability to translate complex architectural trade-offs and automation ROI into compelling narratives for leadership.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience.
