Site Reliability Engineering Lead

Our client is a financial technology company.

The role

Raydar is recruiting for this role on behalf of our client. Take end-to-end responsibility for cloud environments, release pipelines and security controls for a growing software business. The role works in person alongside the founding leadership group, scoping and delivering infrastructure and security initiatives with the engineering team.

What you'll do

- Take end-to-end responsibility for cloud environments and every release to production.

- Work with the founders to scope infrastructure and security initiatives that contribute to the business.

- Run containerized workloads on a managed Kubernetes platform in live environments.

- Collaborate with the engineering team in person, five days a week.

Requirements

What we're looking for

- Experience owning an infrastructure stack or major infrastructure components at a high-growth technology company.

- Hands-on experience managing cloud infrastructure on AWS and with infrastructure-as-code tooling.

- Prior work operating containerized workloads on a managed Kubernetes service.

- Experience as an SRE, infrastructure engineer or backend engineer at an infrastructure-focused company.

- Experience managing relational databases such as Postgres or MySQL.

- An engineering degree in any discipline.

Bonus points

- Familiarity with SOC 2 compliance requirements.

- A degree from a top-50 school.
