About the role

About the Role

Join an early-stage AI infrastructure team as its founding cloud infrastructure engineer. You will build the production cloud foundation for a platform that helps organizations provide reliable, governed context to AI systems.

What You'll Do

  • Design and build cloud infrastructure from the ground up, taking systems from initial architecture through deployment and scale.
  • Make foundational decisions about cloud architecture and establish infrastructure standards and best practices.
  • Build and operate Kubernetes-based infrastructure and infrastructure-as-code solutions.
  • Develop CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, monitoring, observability, and logging systems.
  • Design and maintain secure cloud networking, access controls, and database infrastructure.

What We're Looking For

  • Approximately 5 to 12 years of experience, including at least 5 years building and operating production cloud infrastructure.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure, including networking, storage, compute, and managed services.
  • Production experience architecting and managing Kubernetes or other container orchestration platforms.
  • Experience implementing infrastructure as code with Terraform, CloudFormation, Pulumi, or similar tools.
  • Background building and operating cloud or data infrastructure, with experience in CI/CD, observability, security, and access control.
  • Experience designing database infrastructure for relational and NoSQL systems at scale.
  • Comfort making architectural decisions and building from scratch in an early-stage or high-growth environment, with a stable employment history.
  • Experience with data pipelines, knowledge graphs, graph databases, or AI and machine learning infrastructure is beneficial.
  • Seeking full-time employment.
