About the Role
Join the platform team at a growth-stage cybersecurity company building identity governance software for enterprise organizations. You will build and scale infrastructure systems that keep the platform reliable, secure, and performant while helping product engineers deliver with confidence.
What You'll Do
- Improve the stability, security, scalability, and performance of platform infrastructure.
- Own critical infrastructure components and guide architectural decisions.
- Build tools, systems, and best practices that help product engineers ship efficiently.
- Partner with engineering leadership and product teams on roadmap, architecture, and product decisions.
- Work with enterprise customers on product feedback and infrastructure-related issues.
- Develop engineering practices and processes across the platform team.
What We're Looking For
- At least 4 years of software engineering experience building distributed systems.
- Strong software engineering fundamentals and backend development experience in Go or a comparable systems language.
- Experience designing and scaling systems for enterprise workloads or multi-tenant SaaS.
- Hands-on experience with AWS or GCP in production, including deployment, scaling, and monitoring.
- Familiarity with infrastructure tools such as Kubernetes, Terraform, and Kafka.
- Experience building platform services or internal developer tools used by product engineers is valuable.
- A track record of taking ownership and making architectural decisions in collaborative engineering teams.
Compensation & Benefits
Base salary: $160,000 to $250,000 USD annually. Visa sponsorship is available.
Location
Hybrid role based in San Francisco, California.
