About the role

About the Role

Join a solutions engineering team supporting digital native and mid-market customers in the application security sector. You will bring engineering depth to technical sales cycles, helping customers integrate security into their development workflows.

What You'll Do

  • Build expertise in the application security platform and integrate it into customer CI/CD pipelines, developer workflows, and security programs.
  • Lead technical discovery, diagnose customer issues, and advise on solution design.
  • Own Proof-of-Value engagements from success criteria through configuration and technical outcomes.
  • Write or adapt security rules to identify vulnerabilities and demonstrate product capabilities.
  • Explain technical differentiation to security engineers, DevOps teams, and executives.
  • Improve demos, automation, and educational content to reduce customer friction.
  • Partner with account executives on complex sales cycles and contribute to team processes and enablement.

What We're Looking For

  • Two to five years of pre-sales engineering experience in enterprise SaaS with complex technical products, preferably in security.
  • Experience selling or supporting products related to application security, DevOps, CI/CD, monitoring, or developer tooling.
  • A computer science degree and prior engineering experience, with strong technical fundamentals across technology stacks.
  • Knowledge of developer workflows and build systems, including CI/CD environments such as GitHub Actions, GitLab, CircleCI, Jenkins, or Buildkite.
  • Strong communication skills and experience engaging security engineers, DevOps teams, and technical leaders.

Compensation & Benefits

Base salary: $147,000 to $175,000 USD annually. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Location

Remote within the United States, with travel of up to 20% for customer meetings, events, conferences, and company gatherings.
