About the role

About the Role

Build full-stack products that support admissions, events, and internal operations at a venture capital and startup support organization. You will work closely with engineering, operations, and partners, owning product decisions from understanding problems through designing interfaces and shipping software.

What You'll Do

  • Design, build, and ship applications for admissions workflows, events, and internal teams.
  • Develop event tools for registration, coordination, and media handling.
  • Integrate with services such as calendars, messaging, email, and data pipelines.
  • Build AI, semantic search, and natural language tools across large datasets.
  • Automate scheduling, notifications, application routing, interview coordination, and email triage.
  • Create dashboards and analytics to help teams monitor operational workflows and make decisions.
  • Work with partners and operations teams to understand processes and reduce manual work.

What We're Looking For

  • One to twelve years of experience building and shipping full-stack products.
  • Experience owning product work end to end, including problem definition, UI decisions, and deployment.
  • Strong frontend and backend skills, including the ability to build polished interfaces and reliable systems.
  • Experience with Rails, React, PostgreSQL, or equivalent technologies; familiarity with Python is useful.
  • Recent experience building AI or LLM projects or production features, including semantic search or embeddings.
  • Startup or early-stage company experience, with the ability to work autonomously in ambiguous environments.
  • Strong computer science fundamentals or equivalent demonstrated through substantial project work.
  • Experience with internal tools, workflow systems, or CRM-style software is valuable.

Compensation & Benefits

Base salary range: $185,000 to $485,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is available.

Location

On-site, five days per week, in San Francisco, California. Candidates must be willing to commute or relocate.
