About the Role

Join a small, early-stage team building AI-driven technology for financial markets. In this founding-level role, you will own projects from initial idea through production, contributing to systems that support market research and trading.

What You'll Do

  • Take ideas from exploration through implementation and production across the trading technology stack.
  • Build and extend data pipelines, trading signals, and research infrastructure.
  • Develop automated execution systems and tools that help the team move quickly from idea to live experiment.
  • Work with quantitative and AI researchers on approaches to market prediction.
  • Contribute across trading infrastructure, machine learning, and security as team needs evolve.

What We're Looking For

  • One to five years of full-time experience as a software engineer or quantitative developer.
  • A degree in computer science, mathematics, statistics, or physics.
  • Strong software engineering skills in Python or C++, including ownership of a project from ideation through production.
  • Experience applying technical or AI work to production products and downstream problems.
  • Background in quantitative development, trading systems, data infrastructure, systematic research, high-frequency trading, crypto, or fintech.
  • Market or trading knowledge alongside software engineering depth, plus strong statistical intuition and comfort with noisy real-world data.
  • Experience with AI-driven development and the ability to work effectively in an ambiguous, fast-moving environment.

Compensation & Benefits

Base salary: $200,000 to $300,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is available.

Location

On-site in Palo Alto, California.
