About the Role

Lead and scale the engineering organization at a high-growth AI risk management company. You will shape the team, operating model, and technical culture across AI engineering and deployment engineering, partnering closely with company leadership.

What You'll Do

  • Scale the engineering organization through significant growth while maintaining execution quality and pace.
  • Develop engineering leaders and establish management layers and cross-functional coordination for a globally distributed team.
  • Set operating rhythms for planning, prioritization, hiring, onboarding, and performance across engineering groups.
  • Represent the engineering organization in technical discussions with customers, partners, and the broader community.
  • Partner with company leadership on organizational strategy, headcount planning, product development, and go-to-market decisions.

What We're Looking For

  • At least five years in engineering leadership, building and scaling engineering organizations.
  • Direct experience scaling an engineering organization from roughly 25 people to more than 100, with accountability for hiring, leadership development, and operating cadence.
  • Technical depth across AI engineering and deployment or production infrastructure.
  • Experience leading distributed teams across multiple regions and developing engineering leaders.
  • Background at a high-growth company in a post-Series B scaling phase, with experience managing engineering teams of 40 or more.
  • Experience communicating technical capabilities to customers, partners, or the wider technical community.
  • Degree from a highly regarded university or equivalent strong academic and technical foundation.
  • Based in or willing to relocate to London for a regular in-office schedule.

Compensation & Benefits

Base salary is $325,000 to $365,000 USD annually. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Location

Hybrid in London, United Kingdom, with four days per week in the office and one remote day, Tuesday or Friday.
