We are looking for an experienced Java Technical Lead with strong software engineering expertise, hands-on AWS experience, and a proven track record of building scalable and reliable systems. The ideal candidate must have mandatory IoT experience, along with strong technical leadership capabilities and experience managing or mentoring engineering teams.

The role involves leading technical initiatives, designing multi-service cloud architectures, and overseeing the development of robust applications involving IoT platforms, real-time data systems, and telemetry processing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of scalable and reliable software systems using Java.
  • Architect and build multi-service applications leveraging AWS cloud services.
  • Drive technical decisions, establish engineering best practices, and ensure high-quality software delivery.
  • Lead and mentor engineering teams, providing technical guidance and supporting professional development.
  • Design and manage solutions involving IoT platforms, real-time data processing, and telemetry systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and deliver effective solutions.
  • Oversee application performance, scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
  • Identify technical challenges and drive their resolution through effective engineering practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • 8+ years of professional software engineering experience, with a proven track record of delivering scalable and reliable systems.
  • 6+ years of hands-on experience with AWS and multi-service architecture development.
  • Mandatory hands-on experience working with IoT platforms and technologies.
  • 5+ years of experience in technical leadership or lead developer roles.
  • 3+ years of experience managing, mentoring, or guiding engineering teams.
  • 2+ years of experience working with IoT platforms, real-time data systems, or telemetry processing.
  • Strong programming expertise in Java.
  • Experience designing and implementing cloud-based, distributed applications.
  • Strong technical problem-solving and team leadership skills.
