As a CTO - AI & Hardware, you will spearhead the integration of advanced computer vision and audio AI solutions, driving innovation in hardware design and software development across intelligent systems. You will lead crossโ€‘functional teams to deliver robust, scalable products that leverage OpenCV, deep learning frameworks, and lowโ€‘level C++ programming, ensuring high performance and reliability in edge devices. You will collaborate with stakeholders to translate market needs into cuttingโ€‘edge prototypes, manage research initiatives, and secure partnerships that accelerate product cycles and market penetration.

  • Define and execute the technology vision and strategy for AI and hardware integration.
  • Oversee endโ€‘toโ€‘end development of computer vision and audio AI applications using OpenCV and advanced deep learning libraries.
  • Architect and optimize embedded systems, ensuring seamless C++ integration and performance benchmarks.
  • Lead hardware selection, prototyping, and validation, collaborating closely with electronics, firmware, and manufacturing teams.
  • Drive continuous improvement of AI models, from data acquisition to model training, inference, and deployment pipelines.
  • Mentor and grow the engineering team, fostering a culture of technical excellence and innovation.
  • Manage crossโ€‘functional projects, coordinating timelines, deliverables, and resource allocation.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies, conduct proofโ€‘ofโ€‘concepts, and recommend adoption strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, security protocols, and regulatory requirements.
  • Represent the company at conferences, tech forums, and client presentations, showcasing solutions and thought leadership.

  • Proven experience leading AI and hardware engineering teams in a startup or tech firm.
  • Deep expertise in computer vision, audio AI, and OpenCV with a track record of production deployments.
  • Strong background in C++ for performanceโ€‘critical systems and embedded applications.
  • Handsโ€‘on experience with hardware prototyping, FPGA/ASIC design, and sensor integration.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate complex technical concepts into business value.
  • Excellent communication skills, comfortable presenting to both technical and nonโ€‘technical audiences.
  • Strategic thinker with a portfolio of successful product launches from concept to market.
  • Familiarity with data pipelines, cloud, and edge computing infrastructures.
  • Passion for staying ahead of AI trends, continuous learning, and fostering a collaborative team culture.
  • Bachelorโ€™s or Masterโ€™s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
