As a Senior QA Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for validating Windows-based applications through structured testing methodologies, automated test execution, and continuous quality improvement. You will work with development, engineering, and DevOps teams to identify potential issues early, improve test coverage, and ensure applications meet functional, performance, and reliability expectations.

You will use automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, REST Assured, and TestComplete, while exploring AI agents and intelligent automation techniques to streamline repetitive testing activities. The role also involves integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines, developing test utilities using Python and PowerShell, and contributing to efficient, scalable quality assurance practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and execute verification and validation activities for Windows applications across different products, operating systems, and hardware configurations.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks using Selenium, Appium, REST Assured, and TestComplete.
• Leverage AI tools and AI agents to improve test generation, execution, defect identification, and overall testing efficiency.
• Develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, test scenarios, and regression suites based on product requirements.
• Perform functional, integration, regression, compatibility, and system-level testing.
• Identify, document, track, and troubleshoot defects while collaborating with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
• Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous validation and reliable software releases.
• Use Python and PowerShell to develop testing utilities, automate workflows, and simplify repetitive QA activities.
• Work with GitHub Actions and version control systems to support automated builds and test execution.
• Validate application behaviour across supported environments and identify compatibility or configuration-related issues.
• Analyse test results, investigate failures, and perform root-cause analysis to improve product quality.
• Collaborate with developers, product teams, and other stakeholders to clarify requirements and resolve technical issues.
• Maintain test documentation, automation scripts, execution reports, and quality metrics.
• Identify opportunities to improve automation coverage, testing processes, and defect-prevention practices.
• Independently manage testing deliverables while communicating progress, risks, and findings effectively.

What Makes You a Great Fit

• 5+ years of experience in software verification, validation, and QA automation, particularly for Windows applications.
• Proven experience testing software across multiple products, operating systems, and hardware setups.
• Strong hands-on expertise with Selenium, Appium, REST Assured, or TestComplete.
• Experience using AI tools, AI agents, or intelligent automation technologies to enhance testing workflows.
• Working knowledge of Python, PowerShell, Git, and GitHub Actions.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated testing into development workflows.
• Strong knowledge of functional, integration, regression, and compatibility testing methodologies.
• Ability to design maintainable automation scripts and troubleshoot complex application issues.
