We are looking for an experienced and technically proficient Technical Architect with 10–15 years of experience in designing, developing, and implementing scalable, secure, and high-performance enterprise applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Java 21, Spring Boot, and Quarkus, along with a solid understanding of modern software architecture, microservices, distributed systems, and cloud-native technologies.

The candidate will be responsible for defining technical architecture, driving engineering best practices, making critical technology decisions, and guiding development teams in delivering robust and scalable software solutions. This role requires a combination of hands-on technical expertise, architectural vision, problem-solving abilities, and leadership skills.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and define scalable, resilient, and high-performance application architectures aligned with business and technology requirements.
  • Lead the architecture and development of enterprise-grade applications using Java 21, Spring Boot, and Quarkus.
  • Define and implement microservices-based architectures, ensuring modularity, scalability, maintainability, and performance.
  • Drive architectural decisions related to application design, technology selection, frameworks, and integration patterns.
  • Establish coding standards, design principles, development guidelines, and engineering best practices across teams.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to developers, architects, and engineering teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Design and implement RESTful APIs, backend services, and system integrations.
  • Evaluate existing systems and recommend architectural improvements, modernization strategies, and performance optimizations.
  • Ensure applications adhere to security, reliability, scalability, and availability standards.
  • Collaborate with product managers, business stakeholders, engineering leaders, and cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Conduct architecture reviews, code reviews, and technical assessments to ensure solution quality.
  • Identify technical risks, resolve complex engineering challenges, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Mentor engineering teams and promote innovation, technical excellence, and knowledge sharing.

Must-Have Skills

  • Strong hands-on expertise in Java 21 and modern Java development practices.
  • Extensive experience with Spring Boot for building enterprise-grade backend applications and microservices.
  • Strong working knowledge of Quarkus for developing lightweight, cloud-native, and high-performance applications.
  • Deep understanding of microservices architecture, distributed systems, and service-oriented architecture.
  • Expertise in REST API development, application integration, and backend system design.
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, SOLID principles, and clean architecture.
  • Experience with database design, query optimization, and transaction management.
  • Knowledge of application security, authentication, authorization, and performance optimization.
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.

Experience & Qualifications

  • 10–15 years of overall experience in software development and architecture.
  • Proven experience in designing and delivering large-scale enterprise applications.
  • Strong experience leading technical architecture and engineering initiatives.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and technical leadership skills.
