About the role

About the Role

Join a product-focused mobile team at a consumer marketplace startup, building and scaling the native iOS experience for creators. You will work closely with product, design, backend, and company leadership to ship polished features from concept through launch.

What You'll Do

  • Build and ship iOS features in Swift, owning work from early ideas through release.
  • Define and evolve the app architecture as the mobile team grows.
  • Create fast, polished native interfaces and interactions.
  • Debug production issues and improve app reliability and performance.
  • Establish engineering practices and standards for mobile development.

What We're Looking For

  • One to five or more years of professional iOS development experience using Swift, with strong hands-on knowledge of native iOS engineering.
  • Experience owning a native iOS app end to end, either professionally or through a personal app released on the App Store.
  • Experience building iOS applications from the ground up using MVVM or similar architectural patterns.
  • Strong understanding of iOS fundamentals, the iOS SDK, Xcode, Objective-C, REST APIs, and asynchronous data handling.
  • Startup or design-focused consumer product experience, with the independence to take ambiguous projects from problem to shipped outcome.
  • Product judgment and attention to detail in UI and UX; familiarity with AI models and agentic workflows is also valued.
  • Experience with gamified consumer products or marketplaces is a plus.

Compensation & Benefits

Base salary: $130,000 to $230,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is available.

Location

On-site, five days per week in New York, New York, United States.
