About the Role

Join an early-stage financial technology team building banking infrastructure for digital assets and AI. As one of the first engineers supporting US operations, you will own core banking systems and help shape reliable financial infrastructure from the ground up.

What You'll Do

  • Ship production code early while learning the codebase, product, and banking domain.
  • Own major engineering projects as an individual contributor, from initial design through production.
  • Turn complex financial and banking requirements into clean, reliable systems that operate at scale.
  • Make system design, data modeling, and architectural decisions for production services.
  • Work with engineering, product, and clients to evolve core banking capabilities.
  • Build automation that reduces recurring manual work, favoring simple and maintainable solutions.

What We're Looking For

  • At least 3 years of hands-on backend software engineering experience, including at least 1 year in an early-stage or small startup.
  • Experience shipping production software in banking, financial systems, or core infrastructure at scale.
  • Track record of independently designing and delivering major projects, including technical decisions on architecture and data modeling.
  • Ability to iterate and ship reliably without waiting for perfection.
  • Strong ownership, sound engineering judgment, and comfort working in new domains without a playbook.
  • Interest in core banking systems and financial infrastructure.

Compensation & Benefits

Annual base salary of $200,000 to $400,000, plus equity. Benefits include medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan, relocation support, and professional development support. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Location

On-site in New York, New York. Relocation support is available.
